Battle erupted, Terastallized Dusknoir (monthly votes and subscriptions appreciated)

Watching Charizard fall to Steelix's sneak attack, Candila clenched her fists, suppressing her anger as she looked at Milo with resolve in her eyes.

He had once been a member of the Mighty Team, and a very close friend of hers. But he had betrayed them and joined Team Rocket, helping those Pokémon mafiosi commit their atrocities.

That was why she wanted to capture Milo. She bore some responsibility for his betrayal of the Mighty Team...

But in the instant Team Rocket's arrival distracted her, a large blue hand shot out of the mist behind her and reached for her.

Sparks flashed, and stirring red flames flared from Candila's body, temporarily driving back the Dusknoir attacking her.

"Oho~"

Milo looked a little surprised, but Candila pulled a beautiful feather wreathed in flickering flames from her waist and said coldly, "Have you forgotten the Mighty Team's symbol? This is a protective charm."

"Tch... Moltres, huh."

Seeing the Moltres feather in Candila's hand, Milo's expression grew wary. That token could only be held by the Mighty Team's leader. He had once competed for it, only to lose.

But that was all in the past. His goal was to capture this Dusknoir, then plan how to catch Latias once he got out. As for Candila? He would make sure that woman died here!

"Capture Dusknoir first!"

With their Viewing Goggles on, Dusknoir had nowhere to hide in the mist. Their lack of preparation for that had caused yesterday's disaster, but this time was different.

They sent out several Probopass and Magnezone, using magnetic interference to stop Dusknoir from escaping. The method did have some effect, but with a mere wave of Dusknoir's large hand, numerous Ghost-type Pokémon in the forest abandoned their prey and rushed over.

"Send out Mightyena and Houndoom!"
