Recovering the Mask, Ogerpon Is Discovered (Please Subscribe and Vote)

After Terastallizing, Dusknoir pressed the Teal Mask against the little Ghost-type Tera Jewel atop his head. In this state, he could no longer hide the mask in his belly. His entire body had crystallized.

At the sight of him, Ogerpon charged forward with her Ivy Cudgel. The memory of fighting alongside Mingyou last time rose in her mind.

"Wum!"

The Ivy Cudgel struck the Tera Jewel on Dusknoir's head, scattering crystal fragments. Dusknoir had deliberately taken the blow. Against his crystal-like body, Ogerpon's attack seemed to do no damage at all.

Then he spread his arms. Darkness spilled out beneath him and enveloped the area. Every Pokémon that had been moving quickly slowed down, while the slower ones sped up.

Mingyou paid the effect no mind. Even as he directed Ogerpon, his attention remained fixed on Dusknoir's head. He had never forgotten why he had come here in the first place...

Under Trick Room's effect, Ogerpon's speed dropped sharply. The Tera Jewel on Dusknoir's head trembled, sending out a pulse. An instant later, Tera Blast erupted!

"Heh-heh!"

The blast struck Ogerpon point-blank. She had no chance to dodge. The Ogre Mask on her face, made from ordinary materials, did not break immediately, but a thin crack appeared across it.

"Wum..."

Ogerpon was sent flying and crashed to the ground. Mingyou hurried over, scooped her up, and took some fruit from his backpack to help her recover. They had come prepared, too.

Ogerpon soon rose with her Ivy Cudgel in hand. Enduring the pain, she stared at Dusknoir and charged again. She was no longer the timid Ogerpon she had once been. She would not be afraid...
