Bai Ranmo's strength had stunned everyone. Feng Xiaotian was a Level 65 Soul Emperor, and many had expected him to lead the Godwind Academy Team to victory in this year's Soul Master Tournament. At the very least, they thought his team would reach the final.
But no one had expected the Godwind Academy Team to miss the top three altogether.
The next match was the Seven Treasure Academy Team versus the Heaven Dou Royal Academy Team.

Osler and Yu Feng were merely Level 39 Soul Elders. Ye Lingling had broken through Level 40, but she hadn't had time to hunt for her fourth Soul Ring.
Their opponents were the Seven Treasure Academy Team: Zhongli, a Soul Emperor; Li Bai, Xiangling, and Xingqiu, three Soul Kings; and three Soul Ancestors.
By all rights, the outcome was a foregone conclusion.
On paper, the gap between them was enormous. Strength on paper wasn't everything, but these numbers were worlds apart.
No matter how you looked at it, it was hard to imagine Hakimi taking down a tiger alone.
No one believed the Heaven Dou Royal Academy Team had even the slightest chance of winning.
And the match began exactly as expected. Heaven Dou Royal Academy was crushed from the start.
Li Bai went all out and knocked both support fighters straight off the platform. Osler and Yu Feng, the two agility-type Soul Elders, couldn't make a dent and were kicked off as well.
Only the Shi Mo brothers and Sasuke remained.
