Background and History

Tianyue is Golden Crocodile Douluo’s granddaughter. When she first met Bai Ranmo at Spirit Hall Academy, she recognized his complaints about her grandfather’s harshness: Golden Crocodile had recently doubled her already demanding training 14. Tianyue joined Bai Ranmo and Zhao Yunxiao against the Pope Hall students, taking the lead in setting terms for their duel with Hu Liena’s group 15. After their victory spread through the academy, she received praise and 100,000 Gold Soul Coins rather than the punishment she had expected for damage to the dueling platform 19.

At the Genius Tournament, Tianyue sought to prove her Golden Crocodile King superior to other prestigious Beast Martial Souls. She defeated Huyan Li, then challenged Yu Tianheng and Dai Mubai together and beat both after suppressing her Soul Power to its level at age twelve 71 72 73. She later lowered her power again to face Mitsuki, but conceded when his flexible snake techniques and lightning exposed weaknesses in her defenses 73 74.

Tianyue remained active in Spirit Hall’s factional conflicts. She challenged Bibi Dong’s criticism of Qian Renxue and was pinned down by the Pope’s Soul Pressure before Bai Ranmo intervened 94. Later, she and Bai Ranmo attacked Shrek Academy, where she fought Li Yusong after Bai stopped her from taking on Zhao Wuji herself 142. She became vice-captain of Spirit Hall’s first tournament team and opened its match against Shrek by charging Dai Mubai 210 250.

Appearance

Tianyue is tall, with black hair that she initially wears tied high and a sharp, heroic look 14.

• Golden Crocodile King possession covers her in golden scales and armored hide and gives her a large crocodile tail 15.

Personality

Tianyue is outspoken and competitive. She openly taunts Hu Liena, challenges celebrated Beast Martial Soul users, and readily confronts figures with greater authority, including Bibi Dong 43 71 94. She also values a worthwhile contest: she voluntarily suppresses her power against Mitsuki and accepts defeat once she understands how his abilities counter hers 73 74.

Her loyalty to Spirit Hall is firm but does not erase her attachment to Bai Ranmo. When asked whether she would side with him if he opposed Spirit Hall, she says Spirit Hall is her home, yet promises to ask her grandfather to spare Bai’s life 99. As Bai prepares for a Divine Trial, she worries about the possibility that he might not return 280.

• Golden Crocodile Claw — her first Soul Skill; it overpowers Yu Tianheng’s Thunder Dragon Claw when their attacks meet 72.
• Heavenly Crocodile Tail — her second Soul Skill; enlarges her tail for heavy strikes 16 72.
• Thorn Tyrant Armor — her third Soul Skill; adds golden, thorn-covered armor. Dai Mubai injures his hand striking it, and its thorns stop Xiao Wu’s attempted throw 72 250.
• Limitations — the Golden Crocodile King is not especially fast. Hu Liena’s Charm slows Tianyue, while Demon Charm and Mitsuki exploit her difficulty against mobile or flexible opponents 16 18 74.

Golden Crocodile Sky Azure Bind: Resilience

A Sky Azure Bull Python arm-bone skill that creates golden, crocodile-shaped bindings. Tianyue uses them to restrain Dai Mubai and Zhu Zhuqing and drain their Soul Power, disrupting their attempt to use a Martial Soul Fusion Skill 250.
