Background and History
Qian Renxue operates in the Heaven Dou Empire under the identity of Crown Prince Xue Qinghe. She took the real prince’s identity and poisoned the Second and Third Princes to secure the position; later rumors about their deaths threaten her standing 5.
She meets six-year-old Luofan shortly after he leaves the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect. His isolation reminds her of her own childhood undercover, and she offers to take him in. After seeing his evolved pagoda Martial Soul and innate full Soul Power, she helps him obtain his first Soul Ring and houses him at the Crown Prince’s Residence 2 3.
As Luofan advances, Qian Renxue funds his proposed Heaven Dou Daily, rewards him with a head Soul Bone, and arranges escorts and suitable Soul Beasts for his later rings 7 9 10 18. She keeps information about his abilities from rival factions, including Bibi Dong and the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect 6 28. When Ning Fengzhi threatens to take Luofan back by force, she prepares to intervene despite the risk to her undercover mission; Ning Rongrong’s intervention ends the confrontation first 30.
Bibi Dong subsequently visits the residence and reveals to Luofan that “Xue Qinghe” is her daughter, Qian Renxue, and Spirit Hall’s Young Master 34.

She is protective of him: learning that he crossed Dugu Bo’s poisonous miasma to bring her an herb leaves her grateful but frightened for his safety 25.
Around Luofan, she becomes less guarded. She asks him to call her “Brother Xue,” enjoys their teasing, and reacts emotionally to the tragic installments of Dream of the Red Chamber 6 16 17. Her anxiety when Bibi Dong exposes her identity reflects her fear that Luofan will regard the deception as a betrayal 34.
