Before taking the crown prince's position, she eliminated the real Xue Qinghe and took his identity; she later poisoned the Second and Third Princes. She meets six-year-old Luofan on the road after he leaves the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect. His isolation reminds her of her own childhood undercover, and she offers to take him in. When he reveals his Golden Exquisite Pagoda and innate full soul power, she helps him obtain his first Soul Ring and houses him at the Crown Prince's Residence.
