No matter how much the two panicked, Ye Qing and Gu Ze still took them to the police station. They had considered waiting in the room for the police to arrive, but on second thought, if someone happened to photograph them, they would end up trending again.

"Why only a few days?" Wouldn't this normally mean holding something over him for life? What was the point of dating for just a few days?

"Because the girl has a boyfriend."

"Don't tell me it's that boy?" Ye Qing's voice rose slightly in disbelief.

The officer nodded.

Only after the officer explained did Ye Qing understand. The two were on their summer break after graduating from high school. The girl had always liked Gu Ze, and her boyfriend had come to like him too because of her.

He had heard his girlfriend say how wonderful it would be if she could date Gu Ze.

Normally, anyone would have been angry to hear that. Who knew what this idiot was thinking? Not only had he not gotten angry, he had even come up with a plan for his girlfriend.

Gu Ze's face turned thunderous at that. It was easy to imagine what they might have done. He had encountered obsessive stalker fans before since his debut, but never any this outrageous.

Their parents had yet to arrive, so once the questioning was finished, the two were brought out. The moment she emerged, the girl lunged toward Gu Ze.

Marveling at the girl's sheer nerve, Ye Qing stood up and blocked her path to Gu Ze.

If she tackled him again, Gu Ze would probably lose his mind.

With Ye Qing standing in the way, the girl was forced to stop. She gazed at Gu Ze with tear-filled eyes. "Please, I know I was wrong. Just forgive me this once."

"I... I only did all this because I like you so much."

Gu Ze looked at her coldly. "I've never believed this is what liking someone looks like. Your feelings have already caused me harm."

Seeing his girlfriend crying so hard, the boy beside her could no longer stand it. "You're just an actor. What's wrong with asking you to date her?"

"Wait." Ye Qing could not hold back anymore. "You're her boyfriend. Your girlfriend wants to date someone else, and you're not jealous?"

After they returned to the hotel, Gu Ze refused to set foot in his room. It was already late, so Ye Qing could only have him share his room for the night.

"Why couldn't you be?" Gu Ze paused for a moment before speaking slowly, his deep, resonant voice sounding beside Ye Qing's ear. "My young master, my benefactor."
