Chu Bai broke the Far North’s seal, returned to Great Zhou, and received the title of Lord of Northern Peace and the magistracy of Anping County. He began reforming the county and protecting its people, then uncovered Longwind County’s covert effort to steal Anping’s Geng Metal Qi.

• Chu Bai killed Steel Bone, cleansed the Wood God’s corruption, and joined Zuo Qiu’s effort to reach God-Severing Peak and free the Beneficent Waters True Spirit.
• Chu Bai and his companions broke Great Zhou’s seal at God-Severing Peak, awakened the True Spirit, and drove Li Xuangan away before Chu Bai completed his exile and returned to Great Wall Prefectural City.
• Chu Bai reported his achievements to the Merit Office, had his criminal record expunged, and accepted positions that gave him influence in the Merit and Astronomical Bureaus.
• Chu Bai studied at the Dao Academy, received a Purple-Gold Edict naming him Lord of Northern Peace and Anping County Magistrate, and set out with his staff to take office.

Chu Bai turned Longwind County’s attempt to drain Anping’s earth vein into a source of strength, then built Anping into a refuge and formidable army. After saving the Left Route Army and taking command, he led a counteroffensive that recovered Lingchang Prefecture and marched back to Great Wall Prefecture wary of its rulers.

• Chu Bai baited Sun Bu’er into binding Longwind County’s formation to Anping’s earth vein, then reversed the flow, established Locust Elder as Anping’s guardian deity, and used the recovered energy to strengthen the county.
• As Anping prospered and sheltered refugees, Chu Bai’s forces repelled a demon tide, welcomed three Foundation Establishment cultivators home, and prepared the county for war.
• Chu Bai accepted Great Wall Prefecture’s conscription order and led eight hundred Black-Armored Guards toward Lingchang Prefecture, where he struck the demons with poisoned bolts and lured their army into Lu Feng’s camp.
• After the demon tide devastated the coalition, Chu Bai killed the wounded Azure-Eyed Golden-Pupiled Ape, took the Commander’s Seal, and imposed Anping’s command over the surviving forces.
• Chu Bai seized Soul-Severing Valley’s spirit stone vein and herbs, then halted the army’s pursuit after learning that the Central and Right Route Armies were heading into a blood-array trap.
• The Southern Pacification General appointed Chu Bai marshal of the reorganized Southern Route Army, and Chu Bai gathered survivors and refugees into a disciplined force of fifty thousand.
• Chu Bai led a nearly six-month counteroffensive that defeated demons and reclaimed seven county towns, then marched back to Great Wall Prefecture after warning Zhang Cheng and Hu Hao that its rulers might try to seize their spoils and strength.

Chu Bai left Anping County for the Purple Register Heavenly Examination and entered the dangerous Heavenly Abyss Fragment Realm, where he sought the Myriad Laws Divine Hall and confronted its living resentment. After claiming authority over the wraiths, he returned to Formless City and agreed to meet the newly emerged Xuanmingzi.

• Chu Bai disbanded the Southern Route Army in Great Wall Prefecture, brought tens of thousands of veterans into Anping County, and received the Violet Ordination Ascension Token.
• Chu Bai departed Anping County amid the people’s farewell, chose the Heavenly Abyss Fragment Realm for the examination, and entered it despite Shen Canghai’s warning.
• Chu Bai uncovered the realm’s past through an ancient stele and followed clues to the Heaven-Burying Abyss, where he rescued Yan Tieshan’s group and accepted Ironblood Hall’s support.
• Chu Bai saved Lei Wu, became Ironblood Hall’s Supreme Venerable, defeated the Wang Household, and found a map to the Heaven-Burying Abyss among its ancient texts.
• Chu Bai led Lei Wu and Ironblood Hall elites through the Ten Thousand Bones Blood Miasma, overcame its dangers, and learned that three Immortal Boundary-Steles could reactivate the Myriad Laws Divine Hall.
• Chu Bai entered the Heaven-Burying Abyss, resisted the wraiths’ corruption, found the second Immortal Boundary-Stele fragment, and met Xuan Cang, the former Realm Patrol Envoy.

Chu Bai purified the Heavenly Abyss Fragment Realm, brought it into Great Zhou, and built an autonomous stronghold while advancing through the Purple Abode Realm. After defeating Qingzhou's invading Demon Kings and consuming a Demon Sage's will, he laid an earth-vein trap for the forces gathering at Azure Cloud Gorge.

• Chu Bai protected Xuanmingzi's Purple Abode breakthrough, absorbed the realm's karmic obstruction, and brought the purified Heavenly Abyss Fragment Realm into Great Zhou.
• Chu Bai took first place in the Purple Register Heavenly Examination and returned to Anping County, where he established his Purple Abode with the people's support.
• Chu Bai secured Heavenly Abyss's autonomy, became Heavenly Abyss Grand Protector, and built Heavenly Abyss City at Soul-Severing Ridge.
• Chu Bai reinforced Azure Cloud Gorge, uncovered a plot to drain Primordial Origin, Beneficent Waters True Spirit, and trapped and killed three Demon Kings at Demon-Repelling Pass.

• Chu Bai feigned injury to lure Ji Yun and the ancient demon wills into overconfidence, then accepted Ji Yun's edict and activated an earth-vein net around Azure Cloud Gorge.
