The next morning, in the Second-Floor Girls' Bathroom!

Clanging and rattling kept coming from one of the stalls. As Luo Bin pushed open the main door, a voice called from inside the stall, "Who's there?"

"It's me, Luo Bin. Have you started brewing?"

Hermione pressed herself against the wooden door and peered through the keyhole. Once she confirmed that it really was Luo Bin, she opened the stall door.

"Draco won the match yesterday. If he gets carried away, he might... send the Chamber Monster after someone. We need to hurry up and get some answers."

In Hermione's plan, Harry and Ron would transform into Goyle and Crabbe. Now, however, there was a complication: Goyle had shot himself in the foot.

According to Draco, Goyle had taken the antidote in time. His fever had subsided, but his whole body was still as red as a monkey's backside. Afraid of retaliation from Luo Bin and of being laughed at if he went outside, he had holed up in the Dormitory and refused to leave. He had even tearfully begged Draco to ask Professor McGonagall for two weeks off on his behalf.

As for Crabbe, the "instigator," he had not escaped punishment either. After Goyle caught him yesterday, he had been given two choices: let the matter reach the Headmaster's Office, or take an equal dose of poison. When he kept hesitating, Goyle had searched him, found the poison, and forced him to drink it.

Goyle's actions had worked out in his favor by sheer luck. Otherwise, he would not have gotten his hands on the antidote so easily.

Brewing the Transfiguration Polyjuice Potion was complicated. By the time it was ready, Goyle and Crabbe should have returned to normal.
