Before Goyle could finish speaking, the cauldron on his table began to explode, spraying the potion inside indiscriminately over everyone nearby.

Everyone covered their heads and screamed, knocking over tables and chairs as they fled. Several cauldrons toppled over, too.

Goyle was the first victim of the splashing potion. His right eyelid burned fiercely, and within seconds of covering it with his big, pudgy hand, it swelled to the size of a dinner plate. He had to support it with his palm, or the eyelid, now weighing several pounds, would tear through his skin and fall off.

Crabbe's right arm was covered in potion and swelled until it resembled a Mountain Troll's club. He could not lift it at all, so he had to lean sideways and rest it on the table.

After a few droplets splashed onto Seamus Finnigan's lips, they quickly swelled into an enormous Ruble Sausage. He supported them with his hands and tried to call for help, only to discover that he could not open his mouth.
