The ward door opened from the outside, and Madam Pomfrey walked in looking displeased. "The patient needs rest. Out, all of you! Hurry!"

"Madam Pomfrey, I only finished drinking eight hundred milliliters of potion twenty minutes ago!"

Ron stared at the large potion bottle in Madam Pomfrey's hand and reminded her in horror.

"Be good, dear. You've lost far too much fluid, and we need to replenish it promptly. Here, drink it all. Not a drop left!"

Madam Pomfrey's lips curved into a smile, her eyes brimming with gentleness. She held up the bottle and gazed tenderly at Ron, making a chill run down his back and his spine tingle.

"All right. It tastes good!"

Ron had a gut feeling that if he refused to drink, the school nurse would keep staring at him like that forever.

Gulp! Gulp!

Ron drained the bottle in one go and let out an enormous belch. "Madam Pomfrey, will there be... more potion tonight?"

The only consolation was that the potion was neither bitter nor oddly flavored. It tasted much like mountain spring water sweetened with soft sugar.

"If you lie down now and fall asleep quickly, I don't think I'll have to work overtime brewing another potion."

Madam Pomfrey put the bottle away, then turned and discovered that the three of them were still there.

"Sear, Potter, Granger, the patient needs rest. Please leave at once!"

Hermione's eyes darted as an idea struck her. She stepped forward and asked, "Madam Pomfrey, there's something I'd like to ask you. Once we have an answer, we'll leave."

Luo Bin knew what Hermione wanted to ask. She really does put what she learns straight into practice!

"What is it? All I do is fiddle with potion bottles. I don't know much about anything else."
