"Uagadou teaches that an Animagus form isn't 'chosen.' It's 'discovered' and 'accepted.' It's a reflection of your inner soul, bound up with your personality, your behavior, and who you are deep down."

Aisha's explanation reminded Will of Primordial Spirit Beast Explained. Its discussion of the Primordial Spirit was much like Uagadou's philosophy. European Animagus training, by contrast, focused more on completing the ritual; the search for one's true form came afterward.
Aisha sipped Egyptian spiced tea made with cumin and ginger, then continued:
"At Uagadou, Transfiguration isn't just a subject. It's a philosophy—or, to use a Muggle term, a worldview."
"A worldview?"
"That's right. Our central belief is that the forms of all things aren't fixed. They're temporary manifestations of the soul in different states. So Human Transfiguration isn't about 'changing' a person. It's about 'guiding' us to reveal another true inner state."

"A true inner state? Can a person have several inner states?" Will asked at just the right moment.
"How could they? A person only has one inner state, of course. Otherwise, wouldn't they turn into a monster when they transformed?"
"Has anyone ever been able to turn into several different animals?"
"Uagadou is said to have had a handful of Transfiguration masters who could take the forms of several animals. But I'd advise you not to get ahead of yourself. Transfiguration is extremely dangerous. You're a Second Year, so you probably haven't studied Human Transfiguration yet. It's too early for you to be learning this. I'm only telling you because I hope it'll give you a clearer understanding when you study Transfiguration in the future.
"As for anything beyond that, we'll leave it for now."
