"Aren't there any wizards left in England who cast with hand gestures?" Aisha stared at Will, her eyes full of surprise.
After all, casting with a wand had become the norm almost everywhere. Even in places where wizards didn't use wands, they used other tools, such as China's Spirit Swords, Magic Swords, and fly whisks...

"There aren't many, that's all. Plenty of powerful wizards can use Wandless Magic."
"No, no, no. Wandless Magic is different from casting with hand gestures. Wandless Magic uses your fingers and gestures to mimic the effect of a wand. Your hand essentially becomes the wand. But casting with hand gestures can't be done through a wand. It's more like simplifying Ritual Studies down to a set of gestures."
Aisha explained it to Will.
