"You mean your father invited me to visit your house over the Summer Holiday?" Will frowned.
"Yeah, I just got the letter." Beside him, Malfoy drank ice water and wiped the sweat from his forehead. It was too hot in the Castle; the High Tower was much cooler.
Will mulled it over. It seemed Voldemort wanted to see him over the Summer Holiday. But why?

Or was he planning to give me some new assignment in my third year?
But now that I can turn into a Phoenix, I can just use Apparition if things go wrong. Or should I tell Dumbledore and have him go kill Voldemort outright?

Fawkes glanced up at Will, shifted a little, and went back to sleep. He no longer ignored Will as he had at first. Ever since Will had gained the ability to turn into a Phoenix, Fawkes had become much more affectionate toward him.
