Hogsmeade, the "Secondary School Town" beside Hogwarts, had plenty of shops. Spending by Hogwarts students had always been a major source of income for the village.
It was the only all-wizard village in England. Only students in their third year or above who had permission from a parent or guardian could visit on weekends.
Students mostly stuck to the village's main street. Like many college towns, it had shops and pubs catering to students on both sides of the road. Unlike those towns, though, Hogsmeade had no hotels or rooms rented by the hour.
This was hardly Harry's first visit to Hogsmeade. Every Hogsmeade day, he wanted to thank Will for talking the Dursleys into signing his permission slip.
Thanks to Will, Harry could wander Hogsmeade with his friends. He especially loved Zonko's Joke Shop and Honeydukes. The Weasley Brothers had taken him to the former, which was full of strange and fascinating magical gadgets.
