"Let's see how Mr. Behrens is doing—"
Will and Sylvia sat in the Fish Carriage, gliding leisurely forward.
Two Giant Fish pulled them through the water, moving with effortless grace. Now and then, they flicked their tails to change direction, stirring up currents in their wake.
Will leaned against the carriage frame, looking as relaxed as if he were strolling through his own backyard. Sylvia gazed curiously at the underwater world around them.
Ahead of the Fish Carriage, the light from Lumos illuminated the dark water. They passed through a dense Underwater Grassland, where enormous weeds rose dozens of feet high and swayed gently with the current.
A school of glowing fish swam past them like drifting stars. They circled Sylvia a few times before swimming into the depths.
"So beautiful," Sylvia whispered.
Will waved his Wand, and the fish turned back. They circled the pair several more times before reluctantly swimming away.
Sylvia glared at him. "Were you bullying the fish?"
"I asked them to put on a show," Will said with a straight face.
They continued on, passing the wreck of a sunken Muggle ship.
It was an ancient sailing ship, lodged at an angle in the mud at the bottom of the Black Lake. Algae and coral covered its hull, making it look as though it had been there for centuries.
Fish darted in and out of the cabin, while several eels poked their heads through cracks in the planks to stare curiously at the two intruders.
Once they rounded a huge reef, the view opened up before them.
They carried on past a coral reef. The corals glowed in every color beneath the light of Lumos.
They passed through a swarm of jellyfish, their translucent bodies drifting in the water and their tentacles swaying gently. Will
