Time flew by, and Friday drew to a close amid a gentle spring drizzle.

Will rose early on Saturday. While most of the students in Hogwarts Castle were still asleep in their warm beds, he had already washed and dressed in dark robes.

He left the Castle, crossed the lawn, and headed for Hagrid's home.

A thin veil of morning mist still hung over the edge of the Forbidden Forest. It was wonderfully quiet, and Will enjoyed the surroundings. The atmosphere made him feel comfortable and happy.

Will had not expected anyone to arrive even earlier than he had, though.

The visitor wore Hogwarts robes, had meticulously combed hair, and held a thick copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

It was Percy Weasley.

Will pushed open the door and found Percy sitting in a chair by the fire, deep in an animated conversation with Hagrid.

Hagrid's rugged face was wreathed in a genial smile as he gestured enthusiastically. Percy leaned forward slightly, apparently listening with great attention, occasionally nodding and offering a few words of agreement.

At the sound from the doorway, both of them turned.

"Oh, Will, you're here! Come on, these biscuits are fresh from last night. Haven't had breakfast yet, have you? Try some." Hagrid greeted Will warmly.

Will discreetly shifted his gaze away from the biscuit with tooth marks sitting in front of Percy. "I've already eaten, Hagrid. Anco made breakfast especially for me, and I'm quite full." Hagrid looked disappointed.

"Good morning, Behrens." Percy seemed a little surprised to see Will there, but greeted him politely.

"Good morning." Will nodded, his gaze passing over the two of them.

"Well, I'd better head back to the Castle, then. I still have students' homework to mark." Percy stood, apparently preparing to leave.

"Wait, Percy."
