A moment later, Draco sank onto the sofa, rubbing his groggy head. He seemed a little dizzy.

Will patted him on the shoulder. "Take a moment to recover. We'll leave soon."

Draco leaned back against the sofa and nodded.

Almost every Death Eater greeted Will respectfully. Given his standing, few of them outranked him.

Nearly every Death Eater of any standing who knew something about the organization understood its hierarchy: below Voldemort stood Behrens, Malfoy, Yaxley, Snape, and a handful of others.

"Good morning, Mr. Yaxley." Will glanced curiously at the person behind him. The man was wrapped up like a mummy and looked as though he had only just become able to walk again.

Noticing Will's gaze, Yaxley turned to his nephew. "Luther, say hello to Mr. Behrens."

So it was Luther Yaxley, the older student who had caused Will trouble in his first year. Will had thought he'd died during Will's battle with Voldemort at the Ministry of Magic.

Luther stammered, sounding a little reluctant. "H-hello, M-Mr.
