The day's schedule was packed, but none of the classes posed much of a challenge for Will.
In the second half of Charms, Professor Flitwick spent a great deal of time discussing the fundamentals of Charms with Will—and by "fundamentals," he meant the underlying logic.
Professor Flitwick had covered a great deal of Ritual Studies in class that day.
The two of them discussed the shift from Ritual Studies to the modern system of Charms, and Professor Flitwick gave Will a few new ideas about transfiguring spells.

"So, have you had any new ideas about Potion Transfiguration lately, Will?" Professor Flitwick looked expectant. "We could work on them together. I've looked over your transfiguration of the Draught of Living Death several more times, and I've had a few new ideas."
Will rubbed his head. Aside from turning the Dream Charm into a dream potion, he hadn't done much research into Potion Transfiguration lately. And as for the dream potion...
What if Professor Flitwick could help?
"Professor, there is something I'm working on, but... I think
