Will nodded, sat down by the sofa, and made a languid gesture. A man who looked half-dead appeared on the floor.

Will got straight to the point. "I've dealt with what happened a few days ago. This is the man responsible."

The old duke bowed slightly, unsurprised. "I'm sorry for the trouble."

Still, he studied Jeffrey Rich. The man looked dazed, almost witless, as though he had witnessed something terrifying.

Seeing the old duke stare at Jeffrey Rich, Will explained, "His soul is no longer whole. Don't worry."
