Joy lit up Frank's and Alice's faces at the same time. They exchanged a glance—they had finally recovered. Neither wanted to live like a Muggle any longer.
Will nodded. "But I'd advise against jumping straight into intensive magic training. Start with simple spells so I can see how you're doing. Mr. Longbottom, would you try first?"
Frank nodded firmly and drew his Wand—the one Neville had used for the past five years.
"Lumos."
The tip of his Wand lit up. Will studied the structure of Frank's magic closely. It was stable; nothing went wrong.
Dumbledore looked at Will, who nodded. "It seems he's fully recovered. Shall we try a few more?"
Frank cast several more spells in succession. The structure of his magic remained stable.
Alice tried using Frank's Wand too. Her own had broken, and while she couldn't use magic, there had been little point in buying a new one.
She showed no problems either.
Will nodded to himself. The structure of their magic is holding up well. To some extent, it can recover just like the body.
"That's wonderful." Dumbledore breathed a sigh of relief and turned to the Longbottoms. "Frank, would you be willing to help me now?
"Alice, don't worry. I only want Frank to take Polyjuice Potion and pose as me at Hogwarts for a while. I need to go away discreetly."
Dumbledore explained it to Alice.
Alice fell silent for a moment. Dumbledore sighed inwardly but said nothing.
Then Alice said something he hadn't expected. "I want to return to the Order of the Phoenix and fight the Death Eaters again."
