"Divine descent"
Will set off for the church.
On the morning of January 1, 1997, before the sun had risen and night had fallen, the area around the First Truth Church in Louisiana was already packed with Muggle.
Despite the cold weather, the place was already bustling with people and cars.
The entire town where the "First Church of Truth" is located is packed with people and vehicles.
As a nation on wheels, this is normal; according to later statistics, in 1996 the America had approximately 0.78 cars per capita, or about 780 motor vehicles per thousand people.
With an event involving thousands or even nearly ten thousand people, it's perfectly normal to have these cars.
However, such large-scale rallies in the America usually attract official attention and management, given their highly developed culture of demonstrations.
But no police officers showed up today.
What's even more unusual is that, despite the massive crowd and traffic, there was almost no noise; apart from the normal sounds of vehicles moving around, there wasn't even anyone shouting.
It was eerily quiet.
This is because everyone has been instilled with the idea that the Wizard God loves silence. Today's grand event is about to bring about Miracle, and in order to please the Wizard God, everyone must remain as quiet as possible.
The Morning Mist had not yet dissipated, and the chill still lingered in the air, as thousands of believers began to pour into the First Church of Truth.
The believers were soon astonished by the "Miracle" they witnessed – the church, which could only hold a few hundred people, had become enormous, and thousands of people entered, yet it remained incredibly spacious.
It seems to have no problem accommodating tens of thousands of people.
Because Will had already cast Undetectable Extension Charm here beforehand.
As people gradually entered the church, each believer was awestruck by the Miracle they witnessed.
Above the church, Will hovered nearly a hundred meters in the air, quietly watching the believers silently take their seats inside.
As the first rays of sunlight appeared on the horizon, many believers quietly looked towards the front of the church at the Lectern, which had somehow suddenly grown much taller.
A pastor was already standing there; he had passed Will's test— Will had checked his brain beforehand and found him to be a fanatic.
The pastor began his hymn in front of thousands of people, his voice echoing throughout the church:
"An omniscient being who transcends time and space and wields all knowledge;"
The all-powerful ultimate ruler, favored by Magic and dominating all laws;
The Eternity, immortal, and compassionate Wizard God.
Upon hearing the name "Wizard God," the believers bowed their heads, clasped their hands in front of their chests, and looked devout.
The pastor's voice suddenly rose, carrying an almost manic fervor:
"Our Lord is above! We praise You! We fear You! We will follow You forever!"
The believers chanted the prayers, led by the pastor:
"Our Lord is above! We praise You! We fear You! We will follow You forever!"
Thousands of voices rose up simultaneously, converging into a torrent that reverberated within the church.
The believers were in high spirits, Will hovered above the church, quietly watching the scene.
He raised one hand, and with a slight movement of his fingers, he used his [Emotion Weaving] ability.
At the same time, countless points of light fell from Will's fingertips, drifting like a drizzle to each believer.
The light shone on the believers, making them feel an unprecedented warmth and happiness.
Will used the Patronus Charm.
Many believers noticed the points of light, looked up at the sky above the church, and saw a sky full of points of light.
Many believers could not contain their elation. "Miracle! Miracle!"
The pastor immediately knelt on the Lectern, gazing at the top of the church, tears streaming down his face. "Miracle has occurred! Our piety has been witnessed by God!"
Will's Charisma Experience began to rise rapidly.
[You have gained Pure Faith, Charisma Experience +1]
[You have gained Pure Faith, Charisma Experience +1]

The system notifications kept coming, but Will ignored them and looked down, taking a step forward into the air.
Then--
The believers, who were looking up, saw a figure.
The ethereal figure, radiating a grayish-white light, was slowly descending from the sky.
"It's a god!" "It's a deity!" "The gods have descended!"
The church erupted in cheers. As Will slowly descended from the sky, many believers knelt down and bowed in Will direction.
"Brothers and sisters!" The pastor knelt, his voice trembling slightly with emotion, "Today, we gather here to witness Miracle!"
God has come! He has come among us!
Will raised his hand, and the pastor's voice disappeared.
The church was completely silent.
Thousands of believers knelt on the ground, even their breathing became more careful.
But everyone immediately heard the voice of "God"—no, not heard, the voice appeared directly in everyone's minds.
Yes, the voice didn't pass through the ears, but rang directly in everyone's minds!
Solemn and grand, it carries an irresistible aura of authority.
"My believers."
"I heard your prayers."
Some fanatics were already trembling with tears in their eyes, some had kowtowed until their heads bled, and many others dared not look directly at the figure in the light.
Will stood suspended in mid-air, his ethereal figure radiating a soft, greyish-white light.
He did not reveal his true face—only a blurry human figure was visible within the radiance, his features indistinct, yet it conveyed a profound sense of being watched.
He doesn't need to reveal his true face—for believers, mystery itself is a power.
Will slowly raised one hand and gently tapped it with his fingertips.
The lights in the church suddenly dimmed, and all the light sources—candlelight, lamplight, and even the morning light filtering through the stained glass windows—converged into Will's palm.
Will held a piece of silver light in his hand and said, "I will bestow upon you blessings and new life."
A burst of silver light erupted, followed by countless silvery-white specks of light surging from his palm, scattering downwards like a galaxy.
When these points of light fell on the believers, each of them felt a warm current flow into their bodies.
Soon, they found that their physical fatigue had disappeared and their pain had lessened.
Psychologically, the anxiety and fear that had been building up for years were replaced by an unprecedented peace, and everyone remembered their happiest moments.
"God... God healed me!" an elderly woman sitting in the front row suddenly cried out, her hands, trembling, raising them to reveal her age-spotted arms. "My arm... it doesn't hurt anymore!"
My headache is gone! Thank God!
"I feel... I feel ten years younger! Thank Miracle!"
A chorus of gasps, cries, and shouts of thanksgiving erupted inside the church.
Will watched all this quietly, thinking to himself how effective the Happiness Charm and the Felix Charm really were.
As for the "healing" effect, it is only temporary. After all, he still has a lot of trouble to go through if he wants to heal tens of thousands of believers.
However, this won't be a problem when he truly becomes the supreme being.
