Raid on the Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers
"Mr. Behrens, my head..." Scrimgeour clutched his head, feeling dizzy and throbbing.
Will explained to him, "For the next period of time, you will experience persistent headaches and dizziness, and your spellcasting level will also decrease for a short period of time. In short, everything will decline."
"Ah?"
"Are you confused?"
"Isn't it treatment?" Scrimgeour was dizzy and his speech was somewhat affected.
Will nodded. "It's treatment. This is just a side effect of the treatment. You will recover gradually, just like when you take Potions and need time to fully recover."
Moreover, this is a problem of the soul; the Curse that corrupted your soul has been lifted, and you can't even accept having a headache for a month?"
Scrimgeour seemed to only then realize what was happening, nodding dazedly, "Thank you..."
Will responded calmly, "You helped me complete my plan, so saving your life is naturally what I should do. Also, you need to rest well this month. Your previous working hours are no longer suitable. If there's anything urgent, you'd better take care of it quickly, and then get plenty of rest."
Scrimgeour closed his eyes and paused for a moment. "I was originally planning to handle some matters related to the Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers soon..."
"The Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers, huh..." Will seemed to have thought of something, "I'll handle this. What do you plan to do?"
A few days later, in the morning.
Perhaps because it was a weekday, there weren't many people around the Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers.
However, this situation did not last long. Shortly afterward, with a series of crackling sounds, the air began to distort.
Groups of figures appeared one after another from the air—all in Ministry of Ministry of Magic uniforms, Wand already in hand, their movements synchronized, their aura fierce.
It's the Auror team from the Ministry of Magic.
The man at the very front, with his Silver-Gray hair meticulously combed, had an undeniably cold and hard face that made him appear even more rugged and aloof.
It's Rufus Scrimgeour, or at least it looks like it.
The few pedestrians and Wizard entering and leaving the Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers noticed the group of Auror, but were unsure what was going on.
Will, disguised as Scrimgeour, waved his hand. "Action!"
"Go!" Kane, the deputy director of the Auror Office, was the first to act, leading his Auror to rush into the lobby of the Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers.
"Ministry of Magic! Everyone freeze! Put down your Wand!"
The hall immediately erupted into chaos.
Dozens of Wizard in robes stood up from the table, completely unaware of what was happening, only startled by the spectacle.
A Wizard had just finished concocting a Cauldron of potions when he was startled, spilling the brown liquid all over the ground. The Wizard reacted quickly and threw himself on the ground, trying to salvage the situation.
As if by reflex, several Wizard had just raised their Wand when they were simultaneously struck by several Disarming Charm, sending their Wand flying far away.
Within seconds, all the Wizard in the hall were under control.
Scrimgeour strode into the hall, glanced around, and said in a cold voice, "The Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers is hereby placed under investigation by the Ministry of Magic, effective immediately."
The Ministry of Magic has issued Emergency Order No. 73 – the Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers is suspected of illegally circulating and transporting Potions, and may be linked to several recent attacks Potions Dark Wizard, and even to collusion with Death Eaters.
Everyone, stay put and await a thorough investigation. Put down your Wand and do not leave, or else...
A deathly silence.
Will nodded in satisfaction and waved his hand. "Now, immediately conduct a thorough investigation of the entire Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers. Don't let anyone leave!"
At the same time, on the third floor.
Vice President Rock Rowle was sitting in his Office, holding a cup of Coffee and flipping through a copy of The Daily Prophet.
"Bang!" The door was suddenly pushed open, and Rowle was so startled that he dropped the cup in his hand on the table, spilling Coffee all over the table.
A young Wizard burst in, his face ashen. "Vice President! Auror! A large number of Auror have stormed in! They say they're going to thoroughly investigate the association! They're all in the main hall, we'd better run! Before they come up here!"
"A thorough investigation?" Rock Rowle was a little bewildered— the Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers had never encountered anything like this before. "Who gave the order?"
"Minister Scrimgeour! It's Scrimgeour himself leading the team!"
Rowle stood up abruptly, his chair sliding backward and crashing into the wall.
"Impossible..." he murmured, "Scrimgeour —how could he possibly come in person?"
But he didn't have time to think about it further.
The door was wide open, Rock Rowle could already hear the chaotic footsteps of many people, along with shouts and the sound of banging on the door.
Rowle grabbed the Wand from the table, then pulled a piece of Parchment and several small potion bottles from the drawer and stuffed them into the inner pocket of his robe.
"Go, hurry, to the spare Floo Network, Floo Powder!"
"Let's go!" he said. "Forget about everyone else, let's get out of here right now!"
"Yes, Lord Rowle!"
The Wizard rushed out of the Office and ran down the Corridor toward the stairwell. However, just as the two reached the corner of the stairs, they bumped into three Auror who were going upstairs, as well as several apothecaries who had just run out of their rooms. Rock Rowle recognized them as his own people.
"Rock Rowle?" The leading Auror raised his Wand. "Stop! Don't run!"
Rowle didn't even pause—only a fool wouldn't run!
He waved his Wand and cast a spell on the spot.
"Bang!"
The stair railing exploded, and wood chips and gravel rained down on them. The three Auror instinctively raised their arms to shield themselves.
In that half-second gap, several Death Eaters apothecaries nearby immediately launched a spell attack.
Various Charms flashed by, and blinding spots of light instantly illuminated the Corridor.
Two Auror were knocked away, and the third was about to cast a spell when a silent Binding Charm wrapped around his ankle, sending him slamming upside down into the ceiling.
Upon seeing this, Rowle shouted, "Run!"
Without even turning his head, he rushed to the top floor and headed straight for the Floo Network in the association that was linked to the Floo Network.
He had only one thought in his mind—run, run quickly, he had to run.
Scrimgeour is someone who can rival the Dark Lord; if he doesn't run now, isn't he just courting death?
