Trapping the Phoenix
The Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers incident has sparked Public Opinion in the Wizarding World.
Scrimgeour's forceful actions caused an uproar among the conservative Wizard Wizarding World.
After all, this had never happened before in the Wizarding World; the various organizations were quite loosely organized, and the Ministry of Magic's oversight of them wasn't very strong.
But as soon as Scrimgeour took office, these sweeping reforms began immediately, even...
"Minister, what you've proposed is unprecedented..."
"Yes, Minister Scrimgeour, this... the Ministry of Magic has never done anything like this before."
"The laws of our ancestors must not be changed!"
"How can a new department just appear out of nowhere?"
Inside the Ministry of Magic's meeting room, several directors were relentlessly trying to persuade Scrimgeour, as if he had done something that would incur divine wrath.
"Bang!"
"Shut up!" Scrimgeour slammed his hand on the table. "Stop arguing."
The meeting room immediately fell silent.
Scrimgeour's face was ashen as he roared, "You're all against it! Tell me, where were you all when St. Mungo's's Potions were running low? Have you all forgotten what happened before?"
The Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers has been completely infiltrated by Death Eaters. They're prioritizing supplying Potions to Death Eaters. Has anyone dealt with this?
What's wrong with the new department? Did Voldemort exist over a thousand years ago? Did they even have companies back then?
Weren't those laws governing Magic companies passed later?
We are currently in a period of war, and special circumstances call for special treatment. Can't you accept that?
This department had to be established; throughout the war, the Logistics Department was responsible for allocating supplies.
Potions, anti-curse items, strategic supplies, and relief supplies are all under the new department's control. All the movement of these supplies must be reported upwards. Now I wonder where the Death Eaters will intercept them.
At this point, no one spoke—not because Scrimgeour had actually convinced them, but because everyone realized the Immortality and dared not say anything more.
Scrimgeour coughed.
"Cough cough..."
Kane quickly leaned closer. "Minister... you should probably get some rest as soon as possible."
The other officers realized what was happening at this point. Scrimgeour was still injured, and he was one of the few who could deal with Voldemort.
Ms. Amelia Bones, the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, quickly said:
"Minister, please calm down. Everyone is doing this for the sake of the Ministry of Magic. Why don't you rest for a while and we can continue the meeting when you're feeling better?"
Scrimgeour wanted to say something, but his face grew increasingly pale. He took out a pill from his coat and swallowed it, which helped him recover a little.
"Let's talk about it in a few days," Scrimgeour took a few deep breaths, "I'll rest for a while first."
He ignored the several directors, got up and left, with Kane following closely behind.
Back in his Office, Scrimgeour lay on the sofa, as if all his strength had been drained away, limp as a puddle of mud.
Scrimgeour immediately closed his eyes.
"Minister, Minister!" Kane panicked. "What's wrong?"
Scrimgeour finally opened his eyes after a long while, and said weakly, "Don't... don't make a sound... let me rest for a while..."
"Okay, okay, Minister, please don't scare me."
Scrimgeour didn't speak again, only frowned and breathed evenly— Mr. Behrens' treatment had quite a lingering effect.
If he hadn't known Mr. Behrens ' true strength, he would have thought Mr. Behrens was trying to murder him.
The black Tower of Austria.
Grindelwald was sitting by the window drinking Coffee when the Tower door suddenly rattled. Grindelwald glanced at the clock.
"Will, you're late."
"I took care of some business on the way," Will, taking off his robe and draping it casually over the back of his chair. "It was something from the Ministry of Magic."
"Is it about the current Minister for Magic?" Grindelwald asked. "How's his hand?"
"Healed."
Grindelwald paused, his hand holding the cup still. He looked at Will and clicked his tongue in amazement. "Healed? Albus told me that even he couldn't save something like that."
Will laughed and said, "It's just a little bit of cleverness."
Grindelwald shook his head. "With this level of skill, how can it be considered mere cleverness? Wouldn't that make all other Wizard idiots or Troll?"
"Please stop teasing me." Will smiled, shook his head, and took a sip of Coffee.
"Let's not talk about that. How are the Saints doing?" Grindelwald waved his hand with a smile, his gaze towards Will growing increasingly admiring.
"Hmm..." Will thought for a moment, "The France Saints mainly operate in the Lyon and Marseille area, under the guise of trading Potions ingredients."
Germany has the largest number of Saints, mainly scattered in Berlin, Nuremberg, and Hamburg, most of whom disguise themselves as ordinary businessmen or scholars.
In Italy, a descendant of a Saints even became the deputy minister of the Ministry of Magic of Italy.
They are distributed across Austria, Switzerland, and the five Scandinavia countries, and their people are found in all walks of life.
They are now all becoming active again, though a small number of the Saints ' descendants are less willing to participate once more.
"Not surprising." Grindelwald nodded—it was enough that the Saints remained loyal; what their descendants would become was beyond their control.
"Make good use of these people; they can be a great asset to you, Will," Grindelwald continued. "Especially since your later actions are so significant, not having your own Wizard subordinates will make many things inconvenient."
"At least this year, I don't think we need to worry about these issues," Will said. "I'm more worried about Professor Dumbledore."
"You came here today to discuss the plan with me, right?" Grindelwald said casually.
Will did not deny it. "Of course, Professor, this plan is of great importance, and I can only turn to someone as trustworthy and capable as you."
"Tell me, what are the specific steps?"
Will slowly explained his plan, and Grindelwald listened, his eyes flashing with a variety of emotions.
After listening, Grindelwald looked at Will with a complicated expression. "The whole plan is fine, but, as I said before, as for how to trap the Phoenix's Apparition, if you have a way, I can help you."
