The Weasley Twins were the fourth and fifth children of the Weasley family. From the time they entered Hogwarts in 1989, they had been popular with the other students. The brothers were funny, loved pranks, and earned excellent grades.
After finishing school in 1996, they opened a shop in Hogsmeade called Weasley Brothers' Prank Shop, selling amusing magical gadgets and prank snacks they had made themselves.

The second eldest, Charlie, was a Quidditch prodigy and an excellent student. After graduating, he spent years working with dangerous Fire Dragons and remained unharmed.
The third, Percy, was Gryffindor's notorious study fanatic. He also earned twelve Outstandings in his O.W.L.s, went on to work at the Ministry of Magic, and rose swiftly through the ranks after Voldemort's fall.
Even the youngest, Ginny, could open with Reducto, and she was impressive in battle.
As for Ron, if Harry was the "prince" of a traditional fantasy story, Ron was the "knight" at his side. In the end, he even married the prince's strategist.
Besides, Ron barely studied and still managed average grades. And whatever else anyone said, he ended up as the Minister for Magic's husband.
After the war, the Weasleys could be counted among the Wizarding World's most prominent families. The Chosen One and the Minister for Magic alone would keep the family from fading for a century or more.
