The night was black as ink. Stars and moon hid from sight, and deep darkness enveloped the silent hours. All was still but for the heartbeat and the breeze dancing beneath the night sky.

Inside the Room of Requirement, Jerry swung his wand in a fierce battle with a towering Doll clad in heavy armor and wielding a greatsword. It looked much like one of Hogwarts' guardian statues.

"Sectumsempra!"

At the sound of the incantation, an invisible force shot forth. Like a sharp, silent blade, it swept toward the Doll.

Boom! The Spell struck the Doll and hurled it backward into the wall.

To Jerry's surprise, the Doll soon climbed back to its feet. Despite the impact, its heavy armor was completely undamaged.

"Still can't break through its defenses?" Jerry stepped up to the Doll and circled it, carefully inspecting its armor.

The Doll was the result of more than a month's meticulous work, built using knowledge from Forbidden Alchemy. Its materials had come courtesy of the wizards of France.

Without their generosity, Jerry could not have made it so quickly.

Unlike the crude, iron-clad practice dummies elsewhere in the Room of Requirement, this Doll could cast a few simple Spells. Its greatest strength, though, was its formidable defense.

In short, it was built to take a beating!

While making it, Jerry had considered the possibility of testing powerful Spells such as Fiendfyre and Thunderstorm on it someday. So he had gone a little mad and enchanted its armor with both Protego Maxima and Fianto Duri.

The result was that even his newly upgraded level-three Sectumsempra could not pierce its defenses.
