"Jerry, you're much calmer than I expected!"

When Dumbledore saw that Jerry had not flown into a rage over Hermione's attack and lost his composure, but instead entered the Headmaster's Office calmly and unhurriedly, he nodded in approval.

At that, Jerry pulled the Necklace from his pocket, picked up the phoenix tears on the desk, and dripped them onto the Pendant. With a faint sizzling sound, the tiny cracks in the Necklace vanished before his eyes. Before long, it looked as good as new.

"How exquisite! This was your mother's work. She was quite gifted in alchemy. Even Nicolas Flamel praised her!"

"And? Professor, you won't tell me anything about them, so why bring it up at all?"

After hearing Jerry's words, Dumbledore fixed his gaze on the Necklace and sank deep into thought.

A long while later, seeing that Dumbledore had no intention of saying anything more, Jerry let out a frustrated sigh. Then he broke the silence himself, asking about the attacks that day.

"I don't want to wait any longer," Jerry said after glancing at Fawkes and his luxuriant plumage. "Leaving the basilisk alive
