"My parents? You know about them?" Jerry gripped Bathilda Bagshot's arm and shook it in excitement.

"I'm sorry, child. I don't know what happened to your parents. Just like what happened to the Dumbledores that night, Albus and Gellert have kept it from me all these years!" Bathilda Bagshot opened her clouded eyes and spoke softly.

Jerry's heart sank. He sat down on the floor beside her without a word.

Bathilda Bagshot gently patted his shoulder, trying to comfort him. "Have you visited your parents? They're buried in the cemetery behind the little church. Go pay your respects first. When you come back, I have something to give you."

In the cemetery behind Godric's Church, Jerry stood silently before a headstone. Its inscription read: Though the heart turns to withered wood, longing remains. Though regrets endure, love never fades!

This was where Jerry's parents lay. If Mrs. Bagshot hadn't told him, he still wouldn't have known. He couldn't make sense of why Dumbledore and Grindelwald had kept it from him.

Was there some deeper secret here? Otherwise, why hadn't they told him his parents' graves were here when they knew he was coming to Godric's Hollow?

The headstone beside it read: Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. It marked the graves of Dumbledore's mother, Kendra Dumbledore, and his sister, Ariana Dumbledore. Jerry placed a bouquet of flowers before it too.

After making a circuit of the cemetery without finding anything unusual, Jerry returned to the two headstones and fell into thought.

Had I come at the wrong time?

On his way there, Jerry had asked an older wizard he passed whether there was anything strange about the cemetery.
