"They're here!" Not long after leaving Borgin and Burkes, Jerry keenly sensed something amiss. He felt a shadow moving stealthily in the darkness, barely perceptible. Someone was clearly following him.

That suited him perfectly. Jerry's main purpose in coming to Knockturn Alley today was to catch a Dark Wizard and take them back for experiments.

He had never expected a Dark Wizard of such noble character and selfless dedication to volunteer as a test subject. Jerry couldn't help marveling that there were still more good people than bad in this world!

A cruel smile curled Jerry's lips. He deliberately slowed his pace, letting his pursuers believe he hadn't noticed them. Everything was going according to plan, and he looked forward to a perfect conclusion to this carefully arranged hunt.

Jerry strolled along the street at an unhurried pace, eventually leading his two pursuers into an empty, deserted alley. It was quiet and secluded, seemingly cut off from the world. Towering walls lined both sides, with only a narrow path leading deeper inside.

Jerry abruptly stopped, turned slightly, and glanced at his pursuers, a glint of cunning flashing in his eyes. Then, with a swift movement, he vanished into the alley.

"Where did he go? I just saw him come in here!" The two Dark Wizards, a man and a woman, rushed into the alley almost the instant Jerry disappeared, searching everywhere for him.

Yet the male wizard needed only one glance at their surroundings to realize something was wrong. His expression changed, and he shouted, "Something's wrong! We need to leave now!"

Unfortunately, no sooner had he spoken than a cold, mocking voice drifted out from the depths of the alley. "Since you're already here, why be in such a hurry to leave?"

An explosion immediately erupted beneath their feet.
