"That would be rather pointless." Jerry glanced at Lucius, then nodded slightly. "Still, thank you for your concern today, Mr. Malfoy. I have some things to take care of, so I'll be leaving now."

With that, Jerry rose and left the café.

"Dad, why did you go to so much trouble to tell Jerry Green all that?" Draco asked curiously as he watched Jerry hurry away.

"I'm making plans for your future, and the future of the Malfoy family!" Lucius looked at Draco and sighed.

"But is someone really investigating Jerry?" Draco scratched his head and looked at Lucius.

"Some things happened over a decade ago, before you were born. It's perfectly normal that you don't know about them, and you don't need to know!" Lucius looked at the people passing outside the window, seemingly lost in memories.

"Jerry Green is no ordinary person!" The outrageous things his parents had done back then had trampled the honor and dignity of nearly every pure-blood family underfoot, humiliating them without restraint!

When Lucius first saw Jerry, he had thought the boy looked rather familiar, but he hadn't pursued the matter. Yet after seeing Dumbledore appear beside Jerry, his suspicions had grown stronger, and he became certain that his instincts were right.
