"Besides a leader, I think the organization needs a name," Hermione said in her clear voice. "It would help bring us together and give everyone a sense of belonging. What do you think?"

As soon as Hermione finished speaking, all sorts of strange suggestions came pouring out.

"We could call it the Anti-Umbridge Alliance, or the Anti-Fudge Alliance!" someone proposed.

"Why stop halfway? I say we call it the Anti-Ministry of Magic Alliance!" Fred cut in, drawing a few chuckles.

Good man. You've got a future, Jerry thought.

Hermione frowned and turned to Fred. "I think... the name should be a little less obvious. At the very least, people shouldn't know our purpose the moment they hear it."

"That way, we'll be safer if we mention it outside."

"How about the Defence Association?" Cho Chang suggested gently. "We could shorten it to D.A. Then no one outside would know what we were talking about."

"D.A. is a good abbreviation," Ginny said with a nod. Her eyes lit up. "But why not call it Dumbledore's Army?"

"The initials are still D.A.! And Dumbledore himself is the person the Ministry of Magic fears most right now!"

Approval flashed in Hermione's eyes. The suggestion was discreet, yet carried a sense of strength. Murmurs of agreement immediately spread through the group.

"Then does everyone agree to use D.A. as our name?" Hermione looked around before turning to Jerry.

Jerry smiled faintly and nodded.

With that settled, Hermione picked up the parchment bearing every member's signature and pinned it prominently to the wall.

Then she took a pen and wrote the organization's name at the top:

"Let's start practicing spells!" Harry turned to Jerry. "Which one should we begin with? The Disarming Charm?"
