Ye Chen installed Ju Zi as the power behind a puppet Xu Tianran, then returned to the tournament and confronted the Holy Spirit Cult while Shrek Academy’s reserves dominated their match against Zheng Tian Academy. The weapon Ye Chen was building remained unfinished as the fight continued.

• Ye Chen returned to Shrek Academy, reunited with Zhang Lexuan, and spent time with her before Shrek’s team departed for the tournament.
• Ye Chen killed Xu Tianran, replaced him with a puppet, and asked Ju Zi to marry him and rule the empire from behind the scenes.
• After Ju Zi took on the regency, Ye Chen traveled to the tournament and reunited with Meng Hongchen, then purified the cursed Spirit Devouring engraving knife and transformed it into the Spirit Engraving Knife.
• When Holy Spirit Cult elders threatened Xu Tianran and Ju Zi, Ye Chen killed Nangong Wan and the Masked Douluo, then found the cult’s headquarters and began building a nuclear-scale weapon.
• Shrek Academy’s reserve team faced Zheng Tian Academy, and Ye Chen watched as the match unfolded while he worked on the weapon.
• Ning Tian boosted Shrek’s fighters as Tang Ya, Wang Dong, Xiaoxiao, Wu Feng, and Jiang Nannan countered Zheng Tian Academy’s coordinated attacks.
• Wu Feng and Jiang Nannan eliminated Yan’er, Blood Wolf, and Shangguan Can, while Wang Dong and Xiaoxiao subdued Ye Wuqing and the referee eliminated him.
• Wu Feng stopped Yang Yifan’s retreat with Crimson Dragon Fire, leaving the match in Shrek Academy’s control.

Ye Chen destroyed the Holy Spirit Cult, shaped the Sun Moon Empire’s response, and watched Shrek Academy win the tournament as Tang San was reborn. After contracting the Silver Dragon King and inheriting the Time Rule, Ye Chen became a God King and defeated the Five Great God Kings, leaving them sealed while he turned to arranging matters in the God Realm.

• Ye Chen destroyed the Holy Spirit Cult’s headquarters with the Little Girl bomb, then ordered a hunt for evil Soul Masters and commissioned Jing Hongchen to build a City of Slaughter.
• Shrek Academy won the tournament, and Ye Chen visited Wang Dong and Xiaoxiao before cursing Tang San until he died in spatial turbulence and was reborn as an infant.
• Ye Chen defeated the remnant of Tang San’s consciousness within Wang Dong, then spent six months with Ice Empress and Snow Empress on a tropical island.
• Ye Chen reached level 90, revealed his Time Rule godhead, and used the Soul Spirit Contract Scroll to pull the Silver Dragon King from her hidden sanctuary.
• Ye Chen absorbed the Silver Dragon King’s power, gained her elemental authority, formed three balanced Soul Cores, and inherited the Time Rule to become a God King.
• Ye Chen restored Gu Yuena’s dragon body and divine core, then used time powers to protect her as the God Kings attacked and demanded that he surrender her.
• Ye Chen repeatedly stopped time to defeat God of Evil and injure Goddess of Life, God of Goodness, and Xiao Wu, then sealed the three in Time-Space Amber and took the Asura God Sword.

Ye Chen established a home in the God Realm, raised Xian Lin'er and Gu Yuena to godhood, and killed the Golden Dragon King. He later helped Ju Zi take revenge on Dai Hao, leaving Huo Yuhao devastated by the news of his father's death.

• Ye Chen healed the Silver Dragon King, invited her to join his sect, and returned to Shrek City with her, Ice Empress, and Snow Empress.
• Ye Chen entered the God Realm with Gu Yuena, Ice Empress, and Snow Empress, built them a home in a remote valley, and later discovered that Tang San had been reincarnated as an infant.
• Ye Chen raised Xian Lin'er to Level 100, gave her the Azure Cloud divine core, and watched her ascend to godhood before she joined him in the God Realm.
• Ye Chen took Xian Lin'er to the Forbidden Land of Gods, released the Golden Dragon King, and killed it before giving Xian Lin'er and his companions portions of its origin.
• Ye Chen gave Gu Yuena the Golden Dragon King Godhead, which merged with her Silver Dragon King origin to form the Dragon God Divinity and raise her to the peak of the God King realm.
• Ye Chen equipped Ju Zi with battle armor that gave her Rank 99 combat power, and she attacked the White Tiger Legion to confront Dai Hao over her father's death.
• Ju Zi killed Dai Hao after agreeing to spare his soldiers, then left with Ye Chen, while Huo Yuhao learned of his father's death and lost much of his drive to cultivate.
