Hashirama Senju thought back to the Yin-Yang Release Uchiha Yi had used. He couldn't help suspecting that Yi had already mastered, or at least touched upon, the Power of All Creation.
Hashirama was curious, too. What exactly was this so-called Power of All Creation? Why did it require the power of both the Senju Clan and the Uchiha Clan?
Or could those two powers somehow be combined?
But that didn't seem right, either!
Tobirama Senju had run experiments before. He'd found that the Uchiha and Senju constitutions were almost naturally opposed, each rejecting the other. Yet they didn't seem entirely incompatible.
Hashirama had once wondered whether the Power of All Creation simply required marriages between the Senju Clan and the Uchiha Clan. Wouldn't that bring their powers together?
It could also end the hatred between the two clans for good. If their members married each other, wouldn't the Uchiha and Senju become one big family?!
But not long after becoming Hokage, Hashirama had decided to dissolve the Senju Clan. He'd become even more certain after deciding that Tobirama would be the Second Hokage.
In fact, Tobirama had been the first to suggest it. His love for the Senju Clan was even greater than Hashirama's, despite Hashirama being its Clan Leader. But Tobirama had proposed it for Konoha's sake, and so the Senju bloodline could survive for generations to come.
The Senju Clan might cease to exist, but its bloodline would live on throughout Konoha.
And if there was no longer a Senju Clan, there seemed little reason to arrange marriages with the Uchiha Clan.
Without the Senju Clan, the Uchiha Clan would have no rival. Their generations-old feud would naturally die with it.
In any case, Hashirama had never expected to see the Power of All Creation in his lifetime.
