Whether Uchiha Yi was a good father was another question, but Uchiha Mikoto was unquestionably a good mother. Yet to fight the Ōtsutsuki Clan, Yi had taken Mikoto and the others away. Sasuke Uchiha had not seen his parents in years.
Sasuke did not resent Yi for it. His father and the others were fighting for the Shinobi World.
As long as the Ōtsutsuki Clan lived, the Shinobi World would never know peace.
Once Sasuke left this era, he had no idea how long it would be before he saw Yi and Mikoto again. He did not even know if he would ever see them again in his lifetime.
Still, Sasuke knew he had to leave. The future Shinobi World needed his protection, and the Yi and Mikoto of this era were not yet the father and mother he knew. They had accepted who he was, but in this era, he had not even been born.
"This is a Chakra Pill made from the Ten-Tails. Do whatever you think best with it." Yi took out a Chakra Pill and tossed it to Sasuke.
Yi had noticed some of Sasuke's earlier actions. Sasuke probably did not need the pill himself; he wanted it for Naruko Uzumaki. All she needed was a catalyst. Once she awakened the Sharingan, her strength would grow naturally.
"Sasuke, be careful from now on!" Mikoto looked at him with worry. In the future, she and Yi would be gone from the Shinobi World, leaving Sasuke and the others to protect it. The thought pained her. It was a cruel burden to place on people so young.
"I will. You too." Sasuke nodded slightly. He wanted to say more, but she had not given birth to him yet. For now, there was no need.
Not long after
