"I'm laughing about whether you're hungry," Ye Chuqi said with a smile.

The two-tailed little white fox got up and sat beside the campfire in an utterly well-behaved pose, tilting its head as it watched Ye Chuqi. Its fluffy fur stirred gently in the night breeze.
