- Under the Berserk Pill’s influence, Yang Que fights Ming Yi and Ming San with reckless ferocity, despite suffering worsening wounds.
- Ming Yi realizes Ming San is holding back, hoping to benefit from the others’ deaths. He tricks Ming San into attacking Yang Que alone by pretending they will strike together.
- Yang Que exploits the betrayal. After a clash leaves both fighters badly wounded, he kills Ming San with the Ice Sword. Ming Yi refuses to save him.
