Ravenclaw, having lost their Seeker, were lambs led to the slaughter.

After Kyle assisted in another attack that earned them fifty points, their entire offensive and defensive system completely collapsed.

Kyle had originally wanted to use them to rack up points and secure Hufflepuff's position at the top of the cumulative standings.

But Cedric, having returned to the pitch, vetoed his suggestion.

After all, it was his dream girl's team. He couldn't make things look too ugly.

Kyle did not particularly care. During the long stretch of time Cedric had spent off the pitch keeping Cho Chang company, Hufflepuff had already widened the gap to over four hundred points.

While no one else was paying attention, Cedric quietly took the Golden Snitch from Kyle's hand and ended the little eagles' torment.

The final score was 690:120.

It was said that when Ravenclaw's Head of House, Professor Flitwick, left the stands, his face was dark enough to rival two Snapes.

The entire Hufflepuff common room seemed to be immersed in an ocean of joy.

That joy reached its peak when Hannah excitedly gave Kyle a big hug.

Amid the teasing from those around them, little Hannah immediately let go bashfully and burrowed into the crowd.

Seeing how thin-skinned the little girl was, the others stopped teasing her and Kyle and headed for the kitchen to get food instead.

The little badgers asked the house-elves to bring them a great deal of food from the kitchen.

They even had several large barrels of Butterbeer brought over—the kind normally seen only at feasts for major holidays.

Such behavior would ordinarily have been forbidden at Hogwarts.

But Professor Sprout seemed especially happy today, so she did not stop the little badgers from drinking.
