Luffy gave Sarquiss and the other Bellamy Pirates a cold look. His meaning was clear.
Sarquiss and the others scrambled out of his way. They had never imagined Bellamy, whom they considered so powerful, could be beaten half to death by a single punch from Luffy.
"Nami, let's go," Luffy said.
Nami stood dazed. It felt like the first time she had seen Luffy fight with all his strength. She had sensed an indomitable presence about him, a will to charge forward no matter what.
Was this the kingly Haki Uncle had talked about?
No one tried to cause trouble for them after that. When Luffy and Nami reached the Dock, they found Zoro exhausted and Sanji unconscious.
The Going Merry's hull was damaged in several places, too, as though it had been struck by a battering ram.
"Zoro! Sanji!"
Luffy and Nami hurried over. "Are you all right?" Luffy asked.
Zoro shook his head. "One of Blackbeard's men came looking for trouble. We drove him off together."
Nami went aboard but saw no sign of Usopp or Chopper. "Where are the others?"
"Usopp and Chopper went after a sniper. Probably another of Blackbeard's men."
Nami knew what those two were capable of and could not help worrying. But they soon returned, and Robin came back with them.
"I just scared off a powerful sniper!" Usopp said proudly.
Chopper looked surprised. "Wasn't Robin the one who drove him off?"
"I provided long-range support!" Usopp insisted. "It was a duel between snipers!"
Robin did not argue. Instead, she asked, "Where's Rubick?"
At the mention of Rubick, Nami's spirits sank again. "We're leaving," Luffy said.
Zoro could tell something was wrong. "What about Uncle? Are we just leaving him?"
"We have to trust Uncle," Luffy said. "First we'll move the Going Merry
