Nami gripped Rubick's clothes tightly. The Python before her radiated an indescribable pressure.
Rubick whispered, "How about we just go around it?"
Luffy protested, "No way! A Python this big? I've got to fight it! Gomu Gomu no..."
Rubick tried to stop him, but Nami was tugging on his clothes, and he couldn't get free in time.
Luffy's fist struck the Python, but it didn't budge. His fist bounced right off.
Furious, Nami stepped forward and chopped Luffy on the head. "You idiot!"
Luffy laughed. "It's so cool! I love it!"
Rubick pulled Nami back a step. The Sky Lord had awakened and lowered its head, its slit-pupiled eyes fixed on Luffy. Its tongue flicked in and out, and it looked hungry.
Luffy still hadn't noticed. "Ahahaha! You think so too, right?"
Rubick pointed behind him. "Luffy, look behind you."
Luffy turned and gaped in horror. The Sky Lord had opened its enormous jaws and lunged for him.
Rubick grabbed Nami and leaped back, dodging the stones that flew up when the Sky Lord slammed into the ground.
"Let's get out of here," Rubick said. "Luffy should be fine."
He shouted toward the Sky Lord, "Luffy! We'll wait for you by the giant Vine!"
Inside the Sky Lord's belly, Luffy could see nothing but darkness. Hearing Rubick, he shouted back, "Okay, go on ahead! It's really dark in here. Has the sun gone down?"
"You got eaten by a snake, you moron! Hurry up and get out, or you're dead!"
Rubick scooped up Nami and sped away with Geppo, Mary following with the same technique. Robin swung away just as quickly on a chain of arms she had summoned.
Once Luffy realized where he was, he activated Gear Second and hammered at the Sky Lord's stomach. It convulsed in pain
