The seven people were CP9. They stood above the others, their gazes cold. They paid no mind to the fact that Rubick, a man with a billion-berry bounty, stood below them.
"Robin!"
Boom!
Rubble flew as Luffy smashed through the ceiling and leaped out. Facing the Tower of Justice, he shouted, "Robin! We're here to save you!"
Sanji held a hand to his forehead. "Our captain's surrounded, isn't he?"
Sanji was right. Luffy stood in the middle of CP9. They stared at his sudden arrival in surprise.
"Straw Hat Luffy, with a hundred-million-berry bounty!"
Jabra said, "This brat's mine."
He rushed forward with Soru, his right hand poised for a Finger Pistol.
Finger Pistol!
A sinister smile spread across Jabra's face. Luffy had his back to him. Jabra was sure his Assassination Techniques would keep Luffy from noticing him, and one powerful Finger Pistol would pierce straight through his heart!
But Luffy had noticed the enemy behind him long ago. Now that he had learned Observation Haki, he wasn't afraid.
The instant Jabra used Soru, Luffy sensed him and prepared to counterattack.
Luffy turned slightly, raised his left foot high into the sky, then brought it crashing down.
"Gomu Gomu no Battle Axe!"
Luffy's Supreme Sandal struck Jabra on the head and smashed him through the rooftop. Broken stone tumbled with him into the Courthouse.
The watching CP9 members grew grim. Jabra's personality was detestable, but he was the third strongest on their team, not far behind Kaku in second place.
Yet Luffy had driven such a powerful teammate into the ground with one easy kick. They went on high alert.
Lucci uncrossed his arms. "I'll handle him."
