"Huh?"
The Flying Dragon's eyes widened. The flames in its mouth went out, and black smoke billowed from its jaws. It struggled, but it could not break free of Rubick's grip.
Rubick glared at it. His Conqueror's Haki took physical form, sending black-and-red lightning toward the Flying Dragon.
"Squawk!"
The Flying Dragon's eyes rolled back, and it passed out.
Rubick teleported away. A moment later, he was back in Sky Country's dungeon. Lucci and the others had been held here two years ago. Now it was empty, and it would do nicely for the Flying Dragon.
"Shackle it with Seastone. Oh, and lock its mouth shut."
The Divine Soldiers immediately brought out Seastone Handcuffs and chains, securing the Flying Dragon so tightly it could not move.
Then Rubick returned to Area A of the Laboratory.
"Rubick, what about that dragon?"
"Oh, I needed a mount, so I caught it and took it home to raise."
Tashigi said, "That dragon is probably an artificial mythical beast created by Vegapunk to guard this place. Taming it won't be easy. Why not give it back to the Marines?"
"Not a chance."
Rubick descended from the sky. A man in a cotton coat and sunglasses had appeared at the entrance without him noticing.
"Rubick, that thing is Marine property. You have no right to keep it. If you know what's good for you, return it."
The newcomer was Vergo, known as Demon Bamboo.
"This is great! It's Vice Admiral Vergo!"
The Marines cheered. One of them said, "With Vice Admiral Smoker here too, we've got both of G-5's vice admirals! The Marines are unbeatable now!"
Cold sweat broke out on Tashigi's face. "No! Everyone, run!"
But before she could warn her subordinates, Vergo struck down five or six of them with Finger Pistol.
