Inside Rubick's Mirror Space, Lucci was lean from head to toe. His entire face had become a leopard's, unlike two years ago, when his lower jaw had still looked human.
That was one of the hallmarks of a Zoan Awakening. As for the aura around him, Rubick had no idea whether that was one too. Kaido certainly didn't have one.
"The humiliation I suffered two years ago," Lucci said, "I'll pay you back for all of it today!"
Rubick said nothing. He simply beckoned.
Lucci appeared in front of him in the blink of an eye. His Soru had grown even faster since his Zoan Awakening. But Rubick was an awakened Zoan too, and the Half-Dragon outclassed an ordinary leopard in every respect.
Smack!
Rubick caught Lucci's fist in a crushing grip. Lucci planted both feet against Rubick's chest, kicked himself backward, flipped in midair, and charged again.
Swish, swish, swish!
Haki coated Lucci's claws. Like a pair of spears, they stabbed at Rubick in a rapid barrage.
Rubick didn't back down. He loved fighting Zoans, especially barehanded opponents like Lucci.
Smack, smack, smack!
Rubick struck back claw for claw with his Dragon Claw, batting away every attack.
After his flurry was blocked, Lucci twisted at the waist and lashed out with his leopard tail. Rubick mirrored him, unleashing a Dragon Tail Sweep of his own.
Boom!
The collision of their strength shattered every seat in the Mirror Space. Lucci attacked again, bringing both fists before his chest and gathering all his strength and focus.
"Maximum Round: Rokuogan!"
Rubick took the same stance, except he held out his palms. "Dragon Soars, Regrets Too Late!"
