Rubick gave a sly grin. "Heh. Even if you want to get off the ship now, you can't."
Zoro pointed at the map. "Uncle, doesn't the Grand Line border the East Blue? Why don't we just sail straight across here?"
"As captain, I have to say something to you, Zoro."
Luffy pointed at Zoro and said earnestly, "Going in through the entrance feels way more exciting!"
Nami chopped Luffy on the head. "Be serious! There's a Calm Belt on either side of the Grand Line. There's no wind in either one, and they're home to enormous Sea Kings."

Luffy held down his straw hat with his right hand. "Uncle, I heard you copied a new power. Whose Devil Fruit was it?"
Rubick thought for a moment, then decided to indulge his mischievous streak. "While you were causing a ruckus in Loguetown, your father came aboard. We had a nice chat, and I copied his Devil Fruit while I was at it."
"My dad?"
Luffy pointed at himself. "I have a dad?"
Nami covered her face. Somehow, Luffy never seemed to have a clue.
Rubick said, "If you don't know, we'll leave it at that. He must have his reasons for not seeing you, so I won't say any more."
"Oh!"
Luffy struck his left palm with his right fist, looking as though something had clicked. "I remember!
