Zoro said warily, "I think we should watch you treat him."
He gripped his sword hilt, his voice firm and his gaze unwavering. He refused to budge.
Kureha said, "Fine. Come downstairs with me. Just you."
Zoro said, "Curly-haired Uncle, stand guard here for me for now."
Igaram said, "Go ahead. I'll keep an eye on them."
Kureha carried Rubick into Nami's room, with Zoro following her.
Dalton stared at Vivi for a long while, then noticed Igaram's face. Something clicked.
He asked Vivi, "Miss with the blue hair, are you Princess Vivi of Alabasta?"
Vivi looked startled. Igaram pulled out his loudspeaker and whispered, "Nami, if anything goes wrong, go down and tell Bushido immediately."
Seeing Igaram on edge, Dalton explained, "You should have met our king. I saw you and the curly-haired Uncle with you at the Reverie. You were accompanying King Cobra."
Vivi remembered too. "Oh! So you were the guard standing behind King Wapol back then, Uncle!"
Dalton nodded. "Princess Vivi, how did you come to be traveling with a group of pirates?"
Vivi sighed. "My kingdom is caught in a civil war. Crocodile, one of the Shichibukai, is behind it. Luffy and the others agreed to help me. They'll keep their promise, defeat Crocodile, and save my country."
Dalton shook his head. "Princess, pirates can't be trusted. A year ago, a pirate calling himself Blackbeard destroyed our country with just four men. No one in our country thinks well of pirates."
Nami covered her mouth in shock. "How could five people destroy your country?"
Dalton's eyes reddened. He still remembered how Blackbeard had looked down on his Devil Fruit. You aren't even worth hunting.
Nami said, "This Blackbeard sounds way too strong. I hope we never run into him."
Vivi said, "Doesn't Rubick know a
