"Air Quake!"
A towering figure appeared behind Black. Newgate had finally arrived, opening with a killing move.
A white halo struck the air, sending a terrifying Quake Wave toward Black's head.
Black sensed the danger and flashed aside, dodging immediately.
Hades followed close behind, refusing to let a single opening slip by. His whipping kick struck Black like a black blade.
Black answered with a kick of his own.
Behind him, a tremendous crash erupted, and the G-42 Fortress, which had only just fallen quiet, shook once again.
Newgate's punch struck the ground, blasting out a gigantic crater. Rubble flew as the force of the quake continued to spread.
At such close range, Black felt the threat of that terrifying destructive power.
Blast winds swept across the battlefield as three figures flashed through its center.
The battle was fierce and fast-paced. Hades's ferocious attacks drew both Black and Newgate into his rhythm.
After fighting Hades so many times, Newgate had no trouble adapting to this pace.
What made someone strong?
The strong could adjust their condition under any circumstances and respond in the best possible way.
Black was a fearsomely powerful fighter. Even surrounded by Hades and Newgate, he remained comfortably in control.
He adapted to their pace in no time.
Knowing he could not deal with Hades quickly, he shifted his main target to Newgate.
Without Hades, Newgate would have been completely overwhelmed and would not have lasted long.
That remained true even now. Even Hades had to give his all to withstand Black's counterattacks.
Newgate, however, bore far greater pressure.
The gap in strength was not something a single Devil Fruit could easily bridge.
There was no denying that Newgate currently lacked Hades's combat prowess, while Black completely outclassed him in experience.
He still needed time to grow
