"Roger, think you can beat Redfield?"
Newgate gulped down his drink, then grinned at Roger, who was enjoying a meal nearby.
That was right. Roger's opponent was Redfield.
Captain John, meanwhile, would face Genryūsai Shigekuni.

The others had noticed how close Hades and Redfield were.
Redfield had apparently come to God Valley at Hades's invitation.
"Whatever happens, let's give it everything we've got. No point wasting time thinking about it now."
Roger didn't dwell on it. He was already satisfied to have met so many powerful swordsmen and reunited with so many old friends.
But he would give this fight his all. His fighting spirit was already burning.
