"Why has nothing happened yet? Did he give up? That doesn't sound like Garp."

The Marines' continued silence left Rayleigh puzzled.

Just then, Garp's familiar voice rang out from the distance.

"Hahaha! Roger, I prepared this surprise just for you. Catch it!"

"Hey, hey! That'll kill us!"

Buggy, the lookout, peered toward the Marine warship through his telescope and broke out in a cold sweat. His eyes nearly popped out of his head.

"Let me see."

Shanks snatched the telescope. What he saw sent a chill through him too. He looked little better than Buggy.

They didn't need to say a word. The rest of the Roger Pirates had already seen it.

A giant iron ball had appeared above the distant warship, almost as large as their pirate ship.

Dense, powerful Armament Haki coated the ball. It gleamed in the sunlight and radiated a terrifying force.

"How did they get that thing aboard?"

Rayleigh's pupils contracted. He adjusted his glasses, trying to see more clearly, as cold sweat beaded on his brow.

"We have to take this seriously. We can't let it land. If it hits the ship, the Jackson will be destroyed."

Roger's smile vanished, his expression turning grave.

With its sheer size, combined with Garp's monstrous strength and Haki, the ball would be anything but easy to stop.

"Got it!"

The crew nodded and prepared to act. Their pirate ship was their closest companion.

If it sank, they wouldn't even know how to get away.

At sea, a pirate ship was a pirate's second life, especially in the New World, where the natural conditions were so brutal.
