Yet when he drew closer, Ignis froze in surprise.
A blond child with an exceptionally powerful physique was training.
A somewhat older-looking woman sat on the child's back, adding to his burden.
Snot ran from the child's nose, and he looked rather dim-witted.
"Mom, I'm hungry."
At those words, the woman on his back smacked the back of his head without hesitation.
"You idiot son! Get back to training! You don't get to eat until you've met today's training goals."
"That hurts, Mom! Don't hit me."
Tears streamed from the child's eyes, but his arms rapidly began pumping out push-ups.
This was completely different from the Stussy Ignis remembered.
Her body was frail, like that of an ordinary woman.
Her personality and behavior were also nothing like the Stussy described by Ignis's father and the scientists under his command.
She was not beautiful enough, either. Perhaps because she lacked strength, she had been unable to preserve her appearance for long and now looked somewhat faded, though he could still see traces of her former beauty.
