Esdeath stood beside Bullet, her excited gaze fixed on the prey in the distance. Though she was nearly six foot three, she looked tiny next to his towering frame.
But her presence was no less imposing than his.
Bullet was a disciplined soldier, and he carried himself with authority. In fact, he had already reined it in considerably.
The Kronos Kingdom's Navy and Army belonged to the same military command, so Bullet, as an Admiral, was in charge of this operation.
Esdeath had to follow his orders.
Even if she wanted to act, she needed his approval.
Still, the fact that Esdeath called Bullet by name showed that they got along well.
They had crossed paths many times in the military.
That was true even though one served in the Army and the other in the Navy.
Esdeath admired her older brother greatly.
Bullet had set nearly every record in the military.
At heart, they were the same kind of person: both craved strength and battle.
"Fine! I'll handle the two ability users. You can take the other one and everyone else."
Bullet did not refuse. He knew what Esdeath wanted.
It was hard for this operation to stir any feeling in him.
As far as he was concerned, he could wipe out the Pirate Allied Forces with ease.
None of them had ever struck him as an opponent worth taking seriously.
All he had to do was crush the enemy with overwhelming strength.
This was a chance to show the other powers what the Kronos Kingdom could do. Bullet would not hold back.
