Only when the Thousand-Hand Bodhi drew close could anyone grasp how enormous the luxurious ship was.
The thousand-armed Guanyin statue at its bow alone stood thirty meters tall.
The Navy Warships looked tiny beside it.
Its deck even rose level with the Marine Headquarters building.
Machinery whirred, and the hull beneath the statue at the bow slid apart like a pair of doors, opening a passage.
Inside lay tier after tier of stairs, more than thirty meters wide.
Then crisp footsteps sounded, drawing steadily closer.
Mobius appeared, followed by two others.
He was tall and slender, with long black hair that flowed like clouds. Black serpentine patterns marked his bare arms, and a short white jacket rested over his black shirt and trousers.
His handsome face had an almost otherworldly quality, giving him a strange allure.
More striking still were his deep, mesmerizing snake eyes, their depths gleaming with cold-blooded indifference.
Loki gave off an unapproachable air. He wore dark sunglasses, his silver hair above a white suit and long white coat, with black boots below.
A lollipop rested between his teeth, and he held a black cane.
Psykos had a cool, aloof air, though she seemed slightly more approachable than Mobius and Loki.
"This doesn't look good." Tokikake swallowed at the sight, but he did not back down.
The others tensed too, unsure what Ten Thousand Serpents was planning.
After all, their manner made it look as though they had come looking for trouble.
But it was not quite that bad. They were cold, certainly, yet none of the three gave off any hostility.
That convinced Tsuru that Mobius had business with the Navy.
The three stopped before the group.
